EDUC
2012
Education
Week is one of most awaited occasions by the education students because of lots
of exciting games and surprises. In line with its goal of endorsing and emphasizing the
role of education in empowering and developing the young into becoming
productive citizens of the country, the Department of Education
(DepEd) is celebrating Education Week nationwide.
Education
week started with a seminar held at MOOT Court last December 7, 2012. And by
Monday until Wednesday was the official celebration of Education Week for the
year 2012. It started by the grand parade of Education students together with
the professors from Central Avenue to New Era University with the accompaniment
of band. It followed by Kamayan, watching Infomercials prepared by each major
and the very exciting Educ hunt participated by every majors. I had fun time in
preparing our food to eat in the table and most especially when we ate together
in one table with our foods spread on it, by using our bare hands in order to
eat was the most enjoying part of the Kamayan. On the second day were the
Palarong Pinoy and Basaan and on the last day was the Culminating activity held
at University Hall. Education Week for this year was full of laughter,
enjoyment and exciting activities even though there’s no booth. Every days of
celebration gave chances to every Education students to show and share their
talents, confidence and sense of cooperation to every sets of activities. It is
so fulfilling that it contributes to make College of Education as one despite
of every clash of every majors in every activities and games but still true
friendship and sportsmanship promote. Educ Week of this university is one of
the occasions I’d surely miss if I’ll left this school.
The
highlight of the celebration is the culminating activities which rock the
University Hall and made wild of every students. It will not accomplished
without the support of professors, cooperation of every students, hard-working
presidents of every major, very creative members of NEUES who facilitated Educ
Week and with full love and guidance of Our Almighty Father.
